In the quiet neighborhood of the 6900 block of Spruce Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, a tragedy unfolded that cut short the life of Reginald Perkins. On the evening of Thursday, March 14, 2019, police officers were dispatched to a residence in response to a medical call. Upon their arrival, they discovered 47-year-old Reginald Perkins inside the home, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
