In the early evening of a late May day in Grandview, Missouri, the life of 38-year-old Chad McLanahan was brought to a violent and sudden end. On Sunday, May 26, 2019, at approximately 5:15 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Pinkston Street following a report of a man down. Upon their arrival, they discovered McLanahan on the ground in front of a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound.
