In Grandview, Missouri, on the afternoon of May 2, 2021, a sequence of events unfolded that tragically ended the life of 23-year-old Roosevelt Williamson Jr. The young man, whose ethnicity has not been publicly disclosed, was fatally shot in a violent encounter that spilled out into a residential neighborhood.
The incident began with Williamson in his vehicle, which ultimately crashed into a tree in the area of 129th Street and Byars Road.
