Jaylen T. Blackmon, a 20-year-old Black man from Kansas City, was fatally shot on the evening of Sunday, December 22, 2019, in Grandview, Missouri. The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. in the 13200 block of Overhill Road, where responding officers discovered Blackmon deceased on a sidewalk from a gunshot wound.
