Matthew A. Hill Jr., a 19-year-old from Grandview, Missouri, tragically lost his life on December 13, 2020, during a drug deal that turned fatal. According to reports, Hill Jr. was involved in a transaction to purchase marijuana when the incident occurred. The Grandview Police Department responded to a shooting near 132nd and Winchester Avenue just after 12:30 p.m. on that Sunday. Upon arrival, officers found Hill Jr. deceased at the scene, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
