On July 5, 2024, 26-year-old Kevin McMillian was fatally shot near his vehicle, which was parked at a family member's residence in the area of East 140th Street and Dunoon Street in Grandview, Missouri. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
