On a Saturday morning in Saint Louis, Missouri, tragedy struck at the Finish Line Auto Sales on West Florissant Avenue. On June 15, 2019, Eddie Robinson, a 69-year-old Black/African American male, was found with multiple puncture wounds. The call came in as a shooting, and when police arrived at the car dealership at 9:45 a.m., they discovered Mr. Robinson unconscious and not breathing.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
During the incident, a 60-year-old woman was also injured, sustaining a gunshot wound to her leg. She was transported to a hospital for treatment and was reported to be in stable condition. The St. Louis police homicide division took charge of the investigation into the violent events that unfolded that morning.
