In the Hyde Park neighborhood of St. Louis, a longstanding dispute came to a tragic end for 43-year-old Kori Young on September 12, 2021. Around 2 p.m. that day, outside a liquor store in the 3000 block of North Florissant Avenue, a confrontation between Young and another man escalated to fatal violence. Young was shot in the torso during the altercation and was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The man responsible for the shooting was identified as Demetrius Brano ...
