On August 29, 2019, 39-year-old Lisa Georgieff was killed inside her residence in the Dutchtown neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred at an apartment located at 4108 Michigan Avenue, where Georgieff lived with another woman. According to reports from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, a man arrived at the apartment building and began kicking at the door until Georgieff answered.
