On January 1, 2020, Karmah Richmond, a 23-year-old from Ferguson, Missouri, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in south St. Louis. The incident occurred just after midnight near the intersection of South Jefferson and Crittenden, following a New Year's Eve party held in an apartment rented through Airbnb.
