On a cold November evening in 2019, the life of 33-year-old Louis Banks, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The fatal incident unfolded around 10:30 p.m. on November 18th in Calverton Park, a municipality in St. Louis County, Missouri. Officers from the Calverton Park Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of Elbering Drive following reports of a shooting.
