In the early morning hours of June 3, 2024, the life of 39-year-old Dustin Breuer was tragically cut short in the Benton Park West neighborhood of St. Louis. A former resident of Greenville and a United States Army veteran, Breuer was discovered in the rear yard of a residence located in the 3100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue just before 3:45 a.m. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
At the time of the incident, Breuer had been living in the 3000
block of Cherokee Street. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department quickly launched a homicide investigation into the shooting.
As of early June 2024, authorities had not publicly identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with the killing. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Dustin Breuer's death remains ongoing as law enforcement continues to seek answers in this case.
