In the early morning hours of November 27, 2019, a tragic event unfolded in the Spanish Lake neighborhood of St. Louis County. Daniel Smith, a 33-year-old male, was discovered in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Carrie Way Lane with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene around 5:20 a.m., and Smith was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
