Babacar Dia, a 29-year-old resident of Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on August 8, 2020. Dia was fatally shot while driving a white Volkswagen Tiguan. According to the charging documents, the assailants used an AR-15 rifle to fire into the vehicle, striking Dia in the back of the head. This caused Dia to lose control of the car, leading to a crash.
