On the afternoon of April 7, 2020, violence struck the Hamilton Heights neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, claiming the life of 24-year-old Keith Damarco Boyd. St. Louis Metropolitan Police officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Burd Avenue just before 5:00 p.m. following reports of a shooting in the area. Upon their arrival at the scene, first responders discovered Boyd unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.
