Katina Simmons, a 28-year-old woman from Hazelwood, Missouri, tragically lost her life on April 24, 2020, in a shooting incident in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood of St. Louis. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call around 1:20 a.m. and found Simmons on a porch, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite being transported to a local hospital, she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
