In a north St. Louis County neighborhood, a violent encounter on a late spring morning in 2020 ended the life of 36-year-old Jarvis Childress. The male victim was shot on May 22nd in the 11100 block of Riaza Square. When St. Louis County police officers responded to the call around 11 a.m., they found Childress suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
