Mario Anderson, 49, was killed in St. Louis, Missouri on December 2, 2020, in a shooting that left him with multiple gunshot wounds.
Days later, police recovered his body behind a vacant home in the 2200 block of Alberta Street in south St. Louis. Investigators said the body had been dragged to that spot, as if someone hoped the abandoned property would hide what happened long enough for the trail to cool.
