Deja Nicole Veal, a 25-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost her life on March 10, 2021. Deja was found fatally shot in the Pendleton Heights neighborhood of Kansas City. Officers on patrol nearby heard gunshots around 10 p.m. and discovered Deja lying in the street along Wabash Avenue. Paramedics arrived shortly after and pronounced her dead at the scene.
