On June 15, 2024, 17-year-old Elijah Wallace Jr. was fatally shot on Marin Avenue near 77th Street in Sacramento, California. Elijah, a resident of Rancho Cordova, was a dedicated athlete who began playing football at the age of six and was a standout running back for Cordova High School. He was eagerly anticipating his senior year and the opportunity to play varsity football.
