Trevonte Spencer was a resident of St. Louis, born to parents Tyrice and Therese Spencer. He was the fourth of six children in his family and had recently reached a milestone in his life, receiving his high school diploma from the St. Louis Public School district in January 2021, just months before his death. He was employed at The Clean-Tech Company and was described in his obituary as having a close relationship with his family, often spending weekends with his cousins and grandmother.
