On January 9, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., 17-year-old Darris Anderson Jr. was found by police with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle in the 1500 block of Northwinds Estates Drive in Ferguson, Missouri. Anderson, who resided in the first block of Vizcuya Court in North County, was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Investigators believe he was targeted in the shooting.
