Austin Michael Knowles-DeClements, a 25-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on January 26, 2022. The incident occurred near the intersection of 10th and Olive. According to reports, Austin was in a vehicle with his girlfriend when an unknown assailant opened fire on them. The shots struck Austin, leaving him unresponsive. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Austin in the vehicle and pronounced him dead shortly after.
