On the morning of January 31, 2024, officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the 100 block of West 99th Terrace following reports of a shooting. The incident occurred near the Willow Creek Apartments, a residential area in Kansas City, Missouri. Upon arrival just before 11 a.m., law enforcement discovered a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside a parking garage at the apartment complex.
