Jean Johnson, a 70-year-old woman from Capitan, New Mexico, was last seen on May 27, 2019, while dog-sitting at her home for a friend. She sent a photo of herself with the dog to her daughter that day, but when her daughter failed to reach her the following day, she grew concerned. Johnson's car was found parked at her home, with her phone and purse inside. The front door was slightly ajar, and the dog she was watching had been left inside, but there was no sign of Jean.
