Bryan Adona, a 29-year-old man from Oahu, Hawaii, went missing on February 19, 1992, while bodyboarding near a surf spot called Leftovers, located on the North Shore of Oahu, west of Waimea Bay. Adona, an experienced bodyboarder, was last seen in the late afternoon riding the waves. When he failed to return home, his friend located his vehicle and belongings in the area that evening.
