Clint Oshima, a 36-year-old man from Honolulu, Hawaii, went missing on July 3, 2016, during a fishing trip off the coast of Haleiwa, Oahu. Oshima and two friends, Jensen Loo and Derek Tomas, departed from Haleiwa Boat Harbor in a 20-foot vessel named *Iwa* that morning but never returned as planned. The U.S. Coast Guard spotted their overturned vessel the following day, about 25 miles offshore.
