Nevaeh Leigh Kingbird, a 15-year-old from Bemidji, Minnesota, was last seen in the early morning hours of October 22, 2021. She was reported missing after leaving a house party around 1:00 a.m. in the Carter Circle area. Shortly afterward, she was seen walking away from another residence in Southview Terrace Park at 2:00 a.m. Her family initially thought she had run away, but as time passed with no contact, the case took a more serious turn.
Despite extensive search efforts involving the Bemidji Police Department, the FBI, and other agencies, Nevaeh's whereabouts remain unknown. Searches included ground, aerial, and K-9 units, but no significant evidence has emerged. A reported sighting occurred near Washington Avenue SW and Pine Grove Street SW shortly after her disappearance, matching her description at the time.
Nevaeh, a member of the Leech Lake Band of the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe, was described as being 5'4" and 120 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes, and a blonde streak on one side of her hair. Her case remains unsolved, and her family, along with local authorities, continues to seek answers.
