On May 16, 2013, Charles Garris, aged 28, was shot and killed in the 1200 block of Talbert Street, SE, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 3:32 p.m., and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the scene, finding Garris suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite emergency response efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. This crime took place in broad daylight, but no suspect has yet been apprehended.
