Janet Ann Kramer, a 13-year-old girl, was last seen on January 1, 1971, in Willmar, Minnesota. At the time, she was staying in a group home for girls and is believed to have run away. Janet reportedly left the home to visit her family, but she was never seen or heard from again. Investigators have classified her as an endangered runaway, and her case remained largely dormant until 2015 when her sister inquired about her status, prompting an official investigation.
At the time of her disappearance, Janet was 5'0" tall, weighed between 110 and 130 pounds, and had brown hair and hazel eyes. She also had a history of a broken right arm at the elbow, which could serve as an identifying feature. There were few leads initially, but some speculate that she might have been involved in another runaway case in 1976 involving two girls seen in Tennessee, one of whom was found deceased. Despite this theory, there has been no conclusive evidence linking Janet to that case, and her whereabouts remain unknown.
