In the quiet community of Las Cruces, New Mexico, concern grew for 86-year-old Donald Leroy Hoihjelle after he was last seen on September 19, 2022. His caregiver reported seeing him at approximately 5:00 p.m. as he left his residence on Holman Road on foot. At the time of his disappearance, Mr. Hoihjelle was described as being 5'9" and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds, with blue eyes and thinning white hair.
