Victor Trejo, a 14-year-old boy from Las Cruces, New Mexico, disappeared on April 8, 1986. After the meeting, his mother dropped him off at a friend's home in the Doña Ana Apartments, expecting him to return home later that evening. However, Victor never came back. According to his friend, they had gone to Apodaca Park, where Victor left to use the restroom around 2:30 p.m. but never returned.

Victor had been experiencing tension with rival gang members, and after his disappearance, his family received disturbing phone calls claiming he had been murdered. Despite these claims, no evidence or trace of Victor was ever found. His family, including his mother, strongly believes his friends knew more about the situation than they revealed. Over time, two of Victor’s three close friends either died or moved away, complicating efforts to learn more about what happened.

Victor’s case remains unsolved, with authorities suspecting foul play. His family still lives in the area, holding out hope for closure. The Las Cruces Police Department continues to investigate, and the case remains an open missing person case.
