On the night of February 2, 2007, 54-year-old Trinidad Alcantar walked out of his home in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and vanished. His wife reported that he left at approximately 10:00 p.m. without a vehicle, presumably on foot, and headed to an unknown destination. A significant cause for immediate concern was that Alcantar had a nervous condition for which he took medication, but he departed without it, classifying him as an endangered missing person.
