Oscar Gildardo Canales, a 32-year-old Hispanic male, disappeared from Chula Vista, California, on November 17, 1998. Canales was last seen driving a white 1989 Nissan Sentra. His sudden disappearance was highly unusual, as it involved an abrupt cessation of contact with family, friends, and work, which was not in line with his typical behavior. Standing at 5'8" and weighing 175 pounds, he had brown hair and eyes. Canales was also known to use the alias Oscar Gildardo Guzman Canales.
