Godofredo R. Masangya, a 79-year-old man from Chula Vista, California, went missing on September 14, 2005. Known by his nickname "Fred," Masangya left his home around 4:30 p.m., telling his family he was heading to the bus stop and planned to visit his bank at 3rd and H Streets. However, he never returned, and there has been no activity on his bank accounts since his disappearance. Masangya, who was described as active and alert, frequently used public transportation.
