In the late summer of 1992, Michael Allen Megraw, a 32-year-old man from Rochester, Minnesota, embarked on a fishing trip to the serene and remote Katamik Lake in Manitoba, Canada. He was accompanied by his brother for what was planned as a two-to-three-day excursion over the Labour Day long weekend.
