On August 12, 2020, 30-year-old Chase Etienne Michel Heidebur, a United States citizen, had his last known contact. At the time, he was residing in the Cerro Colorado neighborhood of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Standing at 5 feet 11 inches with a weight of around 160 pounds, Chase has brown hair and green eyes. Distinctive features include a tattoo of lips on the right side of his neck, a tattoo on his upper chest that reads "The road of excess leads to the palace of wisdom," and a noticeable gap between his upper front teeth. On the day he was last seen, he was believed to be wearing a dark-colored shirt and pants, along with black Onitsuka Tiger sneakers that had white stripes.

The circumstances surrounding his disappearance indicate he was on his way to visit a friend in the Colonia Madero area of Tijuana, also known as La Cacho. He was expected to return from this visit the following day, but he never arrived back and has not been seen or heard from since. Later, there were reports from witnesses who believed they saw Chase near the Mobil Park Stadium area, which is also known as the Chevron or Gas Mart Stadium. His friends and family, deeply concerned, reported him missing to multiple agencies, including the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana, the Baja California Attorney General, and the Tijuana Police Department. The San Diego Police Department is also listed as an investigating agency in his case.

The investigation into what happened to Chase Heidebur remains open and unresolved. The lack of clear details about the events leading to his disappearance has left his loved ones searching for answers. The official search continues for the 30-year-old man who vanished while planning a simple visit to a friend. The case is a heart-wrenching example of a person disappearing without a trace, leaving a void and an ongoing quest for information. Law enforcement and his family urge anyone who might have even the smallest detail about his whereabouts or his activities around the time he went missing to come forward.
