In the winter of 1982, a night out for three friends in Beaufort County, North Carolina, ended in a mystery that would linger for over four decades. On December 10th, 32-year-old Michael Fay Norman, along with his companions William Clifton, age 30, and David McMicken, age 24, were seen together at a local tavern known as the VIP club in Chocowinity.
