Mark Carl Brackebusch, a 73-year-old man with residences in both Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Olympia, Washington, was last seen in Bonners Ferry on August 19, 2023. His disappearance was marked by unusual circumstances at his home, where he left without closing the windows or garage, and the doors were unlocked. It was not until August 31, twelve days after he was last seen, that Brackebusch was officially reported as a missing person.
