Richard Wayne Vollstedt, age 67, was last seen on July 1, 1994, in Lewiston, Idaho. His 1994 Mercury Cougar was later found abandoned in the Hells Canyon area, but there was no sign of Richard at the scene. He has not been heard from since. Richard had a permit to carry a concealed firearm, and although he is not considered mentally unstable, authorities advised caution when approaching him due to his permit.
