In the autumn of 2022, a young boy named Kush Kohole Bernstein, along with his older brother, Koa Kai Bernstein, and their mother, Abigail Bernstein, vanished from Honolulu, Hawaii. The family of three was last seen on October 12, 2022, at the Ala Wai Boat Harbor. On that day, they were observed boarding a boat, seemingly embarking on what was intended to be a year-long journey at sea with a man Abigail had reportedly met online.
