On what should have been a joyous occasion, a newlywed husband vanished into the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean, leaving a void in the lives of his loved ones and a community that held him in high regard. Kenan Knieriem, a 58-year-old investment adviser from Honolulu, was on a celebratory fishing trip on September 24, 2011, a mere two weeks after his wedding.
