In March of 1999, a hardworking and devoted family man named Melchor Tabag, known affectionately as Mel, disappeared from Honolulu, Hawaii. Originally from the Philippines, Tabag had moved to Hawaii in 1986 with the hope of creating a better life for his loved ones. To make ends meet, he worked multiple jobs and eventually found employment as a vacuum cleaner salesman for Kirby Sales & Service.
