Tyler Doyle, a 22-year-old duck hunter, went missing on January 26, 2023, while on a 16-foot jon boat near the Little River jetties on the South Carolina-North Carolina border. Doyle was with a friend when the boat started experiencing mechanical issues and began taking on water. Despite rescue efforts, Tyler was not found, although his friend was rescued.
