Brian Keith Awalt, a 29-year-old from Spartanburg, South Carolina, was last seen on July 12, 1991. At 2:00 p.m. that day, he was observed getting into a car with an unidentified man at the apartment complex where he lived. He had recently been laid off and was working odd jobs to support his family.
