On October 12, 2022, nine-year-old Koa Kai Bernstein was last seen in Honolulu, Hawaii, alongside his younger brother, Kush Kohole Bernstein, and their mother, Abigail Bernstein. The trio was reportedly spotted at the Ala Wai Boat Harbor, where they were seen boarding a boat with a captain whom Abigail had met online. Since that day, none of them have been seen or heard from again, prompting a multi-agency search and public appeals for information.
