Simon Owen, a 21-year-old from Fort Worth, Texas, disappeared on June 29, 1994, while hiking near the Manoa Falls Trail in Honolulu, Hawaii. Owen had been living in Honolulu for the summer, working at a Chili's restaurant in the Waikiki area, and enjoying his passion for hiking. Described as an experienced hiker and naturalist, he was known to seek out high and remote places during his treks.
