A family vacation to Hawaii took a tragic turn, leaving a visiting family from Korea with an irreplaceable loss. On June 23, 2026, 16-year-old Ian Jo and his 49-year-old father, Sung Kwun Jo, were reported missing in Honolulu, Hawaii. The pair had set out from their Waikiki hotel around 7 a.m. to hike the Hanauma Bay Rock Bridge Trail on the eastern side of Oahu.
