On the morning of September 20, 2001, 33-year-old Angela Whalen Hudson, a mother of two, vanished from her home in a rural area of Ruffin, North Carolina. Known to her loved ones as 'Angie,' she was last seen at her residence in the 9700 block of NC-700 at approximately 10:00 a.m. Earlier that morning, she had walked her two young children to the school bus stop.
