Franklin David Harder, 25, was last seen on April 23, 1978, in Idaho County, Idaho, near Grangeville. Harder had been entrusted with caring for a property in the Burgdorf area owned by a local couple from Riggins. Described as a loner, Harder was not reported missing until ten days after his disappearance, which delayed search efforts.
